This page outlines the terms and conditions for participation in the NCRR SMS Messaging Program (“Program”). By subscribing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms described below.
The NCRR SMS Messaging Program is designed to enhance communication across the organization by providing employees and authorized personnel with timely alerts, notifications, and updates via text message.
Service Description
By subscribing to the NCRR SMS Messaging Program, you consent to receive SMS text messages from NCRR. These messages may include, but are not limited to:

Urgent company-wide announcements

IT system notifications, service disruptions, and maintenance alerts

Facility and safety updates

Policy or operational reminders

Other time-sensitive internal communications deemed important by NCRR management
Messages will be informational in nature and intended solely for NCRR business and operational purposes. The service is not used for promotional or marketing communications.
Eligibility and Enrollment
Participation in the NCRR SMS Messaging Program is available to all active NCRR employees, contractors, and approved affiliates who provide a valid mobile phone number.
By providing your mobile number through the designated internal registration process (e.g., Microsoft Teams phone integration or HR system opt-in), you authorize NCRR to send SMS messages to that number.
Message Frequency
Messages will be sent only as necessary and will generally be limited to a few messages per month.
However, frequency may vary depending on business needs, emergencies, or critical operational issues. For example, during major IT outages or emergency situations, message volume may temporarily increase.
Cost and Carrier Responsibility
Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
NCRR does not charge any fees for participation in the Program. You are solely responsible for any charges billed by your mobile carrier for text message delivery, roaming, or data usage.
NCRR is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier service issues or device limitations.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to NCRR. Your mobile phone number and any related information collected for this Program will be used exclusively for NCRR SMS alerts and will be stored securely in accordance with NCRR’s data protection and retention policies.
NCRR will never sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
Information may only be disclosed outside NCRR when required by applicable law, regulation, or court order.

Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of the NCRR SMS Messaging Program at any time by:

Replying STOP to any NCRR SMS message, or

Adjusting your preferences through Microsoft Teams SMS settings, or
-
Contacting the IT Help Desk to request removal from the SMS distribution list.
Upon opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message verifying that you have been unsubscribed. After confirmation, you will no longer receive further messages unless you re-enroll in the Program.

Disclaimer
NCRR is not responsible for any delays, undelivered messages, or errors in SMS transmission caused by your mobile carrier or external technical factors.
Participation in this Program is voluntary, and by continuing enrollment, you acknowledge that NCRR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to message delivery.
Modification of Terms
NCRR reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated through internal channels, and your continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
